About the role
Shoott is looking for a Chief of Staff to support the Shoott leadership team with effective decision-making, project management, and execution of strategic initiatives across the business. This individual will provide the organizational and communication framework to ensure the success of executing the leadership team’s visions and goals. We are looking for a team player who excels at both big picture thinking as well as detail-oriented execution and is comfortable pivoting quickly for whatever challenge arises.
Location
Remote role. Primary work hours are maintained in Eastern Standard Time.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all administrative, financial, and operational activities to support day-to-day operations
Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the leadership team to facilitate efficient decision making
Track progress of roadmap for major goals to support broad functional objectives
Operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leadership areas of responsibility
Promote team integration as well as cross-functional communication and collaboration
Provide analysis, recommendations, and options on high-impact decisions to the leadership team
Manage the company’s brand and reputation across multiple channels
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Advanced knowledge of Office and GSuite tools; Skilled at using and learning new platforms and technologies
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to both anticipate and manage roadblocks. Excellent and efficient problem-solver with strong project management skills
Facile with multi-tasking and comfortable with the fast-paced nature of startups
Dedicated to teamwork, accountability, organization, and clarity in communication; must be able to maintain professionalism, diplomacy, and ownership at all times.
Preferred: Experience with coding and/or working with development teams
Preferred: High level of familiarity and comfort with social media platforms, namely Tiktok, Instagram, and Facebook
